We made baked mini desserts and helped make decorations for the pink owl shower.
Added some pink, baby girl picks to the treat stand as well.
We had such fun making some pretty, paper decor. Placing them in different corners of the room added beautiful splashes of color.
Here are some pics from the owl tree we made for the new baby's room.
Saturday morning we had the opportunity to "cater" some brunch items and sweet treats for a friend's baby shower. Looking at the photos below, (and the title of this post) I'm sure you can guess the theme of this shower. I didn't realize pink owls were trending soooo much until we went browsing a few shops this past week. It doesn't take long to spot something owl related... there is such a broad selection to choose from! It was a super cute theme for a baby girl's shower.
Below are some photos of our family decorating and baking these shower goodies.
Found a really cute pink owl printable from Repeat Crafter Me blog. She offers a whole bunch of free online printables. We decided to use them as picks on our cinnamon rolls, and also attached a few to our wired tier stand. Cute!!
Our Baby Shower Centerpiece & Gift
We decided on making a pink owl tree... not only to become our shower centerpiece, but to be our family's gift for this new little one's room. We hung some pink-frosted butter cookies on some of the branches and displayed the rest underneath the tree on a platter. Marielle crocheted an owl for each member of their family, including a little baby bird in her nest! It turned out super cute!! Below are some pictures of this adorable tree!
The final product...
Saturday's menu was brunch food. We made old-time favorites such as cinnamon rolls, cream cheese danish, and other fun pastries, but we also had some other options like a Savory Bacon Cheesecake and vegetable frittata squares. And you know us, can't go anywhere without some sweet treats!
Brunch is so fun!
Picture Time :)
The event went very well, and everyone seemed to enjoy the brunch!
Talk to you all soon!
